FOOTLOCKER / FOODLOCKER
By: Jim Hughes

There were three scouts in the Knight family. Mack started in 1964. He continued until 1971, receiving Eagle in 1967. Terry began in 1966 and continued until 1971, receiving Eagle in 1969. Tim made his start in 1967 and continued until 1973, receiving his Eagle in 1969.
When the troop went to summer camp, each scout used a footlocker to keep all his gear. Having observed this with his older brothers, Tim decided to use a footlocker on weekend campouts to load up all the food, condiments, pots, and pans required to fulfill HIS appetite until we returned home. Tim’s footlocker also held many snacks. Other scouts were always coming to Tim’s tent just to see what he had in what became known as “Tim’s FOODlocker”.
